We’re offering food boxes filled with local and traditional foods to support the nutritional needs of growing Native families. 💙

Registered Nurse and Certified Lactation Consultant Megan will be distributing a limited number of food boxes to Native pregnant women and families with children ages 5 and younger.

The Great Lakes Intertribal Food Coalition Tribal Elder Food Boxes are coming this Friday, September 11! Stop by the GLIIHC main lobby for a box of proteins, produce, and shelf-stable items sourced from Indigenous and non-Indigenous local producers.

*Must be 55 years of age or older.
*Must be present for pick up with tribal I.D. between the hours of 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or until boxes are gone. Due to high demand, boxes cannot be reserved or set aside under any circumstances. (Elders with tribal I.D. will be served first. If we still have boxes available after 11:30am, Native patients without tribal I.D. are welcome to pick up a box.)

*Boxes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Check in with staff as you arrive.
