
Fostering Friendships Festival
April 5th @ 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM CDT
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Circles of Strength (COS) advocates for family and community support to protect children. The Fostering Friendships Festival offers a safe space for Native families to connect with their culture through crafts, games, and fun.
Join us for food and family activities:
- Face painting
- Beading with elders
- Making medicine pouches
- Games & prizes
- Native language scavenger hunt
- Raffle drawings – bikes, craft kits, & more!
- Free diapers & blankets, etc. *while supplies last
First Nations Fostering will be onsite to answer questions about becoming a foster parent and ensuring our children have the childhood they deserve.
*Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
