Energy Assistance
In response to COVID-19, the State of Wisconsin Division of Administration has approved new income guidelines for Energy Assistance benefits. Instead of customers being tested by 3 months of income this is being changed to 1 month of income effective 3/30/2020. Please see income guidelines below.

The best time for residents to apply is now. Residents that come in now are also able to request a crisis application which means they may become eligible for additional funds as well (until funds are depleted).
Residents can call to schedule an appointment at 414-270-4MKE or go online and schedule at www.KEEPWARMMKE.ORG.
Note: All sites are temporarily closed to the public. All appointments are by phone once the resident schedules the appointment an Energy Assistance specialist will call them at the scheduled time and complete the application by phone.
